Re-educating the Beast

"The inner Beast changes character once it's caught & brought to quiet submission, where one comes to see that it is not a true monster afterall, but simply an undisciplined bully-SELF in need of good leadership".....Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

First, we become knowledgeable about the presence of the beast & then begin to notice it. The actual noticing brings the beast out of hiding. From this position, without harsh judging, we begin the inner-education process.

I ask the Workshop group to bring their beasts to the morning session & then to describe them, as a form of introduction. This rather rediculous image breaks the ice while building rapport.

Pam opens the introductions, "My beast is on a leash so I can control her. She's not used to being with others, still wearing lots of shame & guilt. She's been in the dark for so long, I've put sunglasses on her. She actually came out quite easily, which surprised me. In the beginning she was full of rage, trying to frighten me, but now it seems that she has accepted that I'm in charge now. I'm the leader."

According to Jim, his beast isn't keen on being in the light & out of hiding. "He wants to retreat & has threatened me about what will happen IF we don't "both" leave this workshop. Here's what I hear in my head. I'll never be able to change at this stage of my life & even if I did, how would others relate to me? It would be like becoming a different person. Everyone would know that I have imperfections & so I'll be the loser."

BOUNDARY SETTING

Beasts need boundaries....

We are keenly aware of the need to set boundaries with others, but boundary setting begins with setting these for the inner bully-SELVES or beasts. Without doing that, it is next to impossible to set boundaries for others, especially without inner conflict. Remember, whenever there is conflict or stress, one looks to balance the uncomfortable feelings, either by going to addiction or negative behaviors.

How do we know what kind of boundaries to build & how do we go about doing this?

Taking ownership of the beast or self-esteem is KEY. When the beast runs the show, then the realSELF becomes a secondary character, just the opposite of the way it is supposed to be. Think about managing an out of control puppy or dog. If you have never watched Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer, do so. Here you will have the opportunity to see out of control dogs who run the lives of their owners or masters. This is a living metaphor for the owner or matureSELF & the beast. It's important to see/notice, who is in control of who. In Cesar's world, "who is the pack leader."

The workshop group brought their personal beasts to class. Some were on leashes. All were new to the training, some eager, but most not. After all, beasts have been running the show of their masters for decades. Why should they be happy about the turn of events?

We begin our work by taking back control. Just like with dogs, beasts can be very large & intimidating. It's important to remember WHO is the pack leader & who is a member of the pack. Obviously, you are the pack leader & the beast is simply a member who needs sound & direct leadership.

From this moment forward, beasts are not allowed to get away with anything negative or potentially harmful. EVERYTHING that falls into these categories gets corrected & the correction happens RIGHT IN THE MOMENT. No thoughts, no behaviors, no habit facets are left unchecked. Checking means that when some negative area is noticed, no matter how big or how small it is......it is corrected right then & there. With dogs, the disciplinarian yanks the leash or "interrupts" the behavior/habit with a meaningful touch with either the knee, foot or with leash communication. Same holds true for a beast who is out of control. Simply notice, yank firmly or interrup with a metaphorical knee or foot.

In my groups, the beast is seen as a child wearing teeshirts with the emotional name on the front. Emotions are separate from the master or self-disciplinarian. The HigherSELF performs the discipline in the moment. Just the presence of the HigherSELF brings respect. This part of the SELF works from the emotional state of quiet, centered assertiveness. The message is, "I'm in charge." I also like the suggestion from the HigherSELF to the childSELF or beast, " No discussion. I'm in charge."

Consistency is very important. Nothing must get past the disciplinarian SELF. If it does, the beast or childSELF wins the point. As we come to become clear about what we truly want to achieve, planning & executing discipline becomes easier.

In our next Workshop, we'll begin to define goals. This will help to set boundaries for emotions, habits & behaviors that are "beast-related."

The past issues of this blog can be found below. Other segments are stored in the following separate blog. For those of you who would like to practice Interactive Self-Hypnosis, there is always a complimentary mp3 sitting on my website. The program that is there presently is a full session called The Life University. This is part of a 2-CD/mp3 program for re-structuring goals & implementing them in all parts of life. I'm sure you will join others who have enjoyed working with this program. I'll be changing this in a few days, so you might want to take advantage of it while it is still posted. The next program will be on goal achievement.

Taming the Beast Within

"You have a choice regarding the facets of your self-image & level of self-esteem. It's like shopping in a department store with unlimited credit. How would you like to gift yourself?"....Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

I address the workshop about the above quote. In other words, what works for you & what doesn't? In order to know what you want, first you have to complete a self-evaluation or assessment.

THE ART OF SIMPLY NOTICING

We want to bring the beast out into the sunlight where we can study it in detail. We cannot change what we cannot see. Like anything else, we need to become fully aware, really getting to know this part of ourselves.

Through keen observation you will become acutely sensitive to the fact that you are not your inner-beast, but rather his/her observer. This is KEY in order to change. If not, the self-image & esteem become like coats that can't be unbuttoned.

As your awareness develops, you will begin to enjoy yourself more & more in your evderyday life. Certain characteristics of the beast will begin to stand out. He can appear as your best freind, but left to his own devices, he can make you miserable. He will promise happiness, but lead you to periods of intense anxiety, sadness, anger & eventually emptiness.

You will start to observe that the beast has a very complex scheme of rules, regulations, shoulds & ought to's. He'll quietly tell you that if you don't do what he tells you, no one will love you, that you must be number one, you must strive for perfetion, you should not show anger, you should be grateful for everything & anything because basically you are undeserving. In addition, you should submere yourself in self-doubt & worry. He will ardently kep you thinking in the past & future, as far away as possible from the real world & the present moment.

BEAST BELIEF SYSTEMS

The beast, or negative self-esteem has some strange ideations that are woven into his belief systems. These are presented to you as truths. Here are a few examples.

Your true self is unlovable; fast is good & slow is bad. To show sadness is to be weak or childish or unreliable or overly dependent. Nice girls don't enjoy sex & certainly, nice girls don't show that they enjoy sex. Asking for what you want is selfish. Showing anger is sinful, childish, unprofessional & totally unacceptable. Something terrible is going to happen. Mena are better leaders than women. Worry has value. Anxiety has value. Guilt has value.

BRINGING THE INSIGHT HOME

I ask the group to think about their own beliefs that have been presented as truths by their beast-in-residence.

TAMING

Taming the beast is simple, but not easy. Becoming aware or learning to pay attention to your thoughts, thought patterns & habits is a good beginning. The art is to simply notice & not to get involved in thinking about what you are noticing.

How does one do this?

You might like to practice with inanimate objects to get a real feel for the process. Choose any object in your view. Pretend that you are a camera & carefully study the object from all angles. Pretend that you have never seen it before. Examine the shape; how does it feel; what about the texture; how does the light hit it from different angles? This is the way you want to begin to look at your thoughts & judgments.

These are focusing exercises or exercises in concentration. You may find it easier to do them in a quiet place with few distractions, but once you learn the process, they can be done anywhere & anytime. An interesting & useful side-effect of these exercises is a feeling of peace or relaxation, exactly what your beast will despise. Learn to go slowly & take your time, becoming more more aware of just what is going on in your mind. The beast will attempt to distract you, but realize once again that this is just the nature of the beast & you must persist through this if you want to win.

THOUGHT HABITS

You will begin to become aware that you have certain thought habits for leading your life. We'll work with them in the next section of the BlogAlong Workshop.

The past issues of this blog can be found below. Other segments are stored in the following separate blog. For those of you who would like to practice Interactive Self-Hypnosis, there is always a complimentary mp3 sitting on my website.

The Beast Within

"You become who you believe you are....one breath at a time, each thought & moment sculpting out your self-image & self-esteem"....Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

Workshop participants come to speak to me during the break. This is an interesting time because I have the opportunity to learn more about each of them. The earlier session opened minds & now private sharing takes place. This will provide me with fodder for the afternoon session.

I focus on Anna. Despite being instructed to dress-down for the workshop, she appears as if going on a job interview. Here's the humor in that. Anna's issues have to do with her many failed tries at success, both professionally & personally. I'm left with the impression that she has brought her "interviewSELF" to the workshop for some guidance.

"I don't know why I even bother to go on interview. They all end up the same way. Like bad dates, I never hear from anyone again. But, why should they hire me? Who do I think I am anyway?"

Anna knows her presentingSELF well. She's been critiquing her for years. She knows herself as, "unattractive, slow, uninteresting & someone who will never amount to much."

LOCATING THE BEAST WITHIN

If you were asked to paint a picture of yourself in your mind's eye or to describe yourself in one word, what would it be? A voice in your head probably screamed an answer even before you finished reading the question. More than likely it was a negative comment or label, certainly something you would never call a friend. But hundreds of times a day, this inner voice or judgment or beast, spews some negative thought which you take at face value. Ask Anna.

We've all noticed our personal beast within, but most of us have really focused our awareness in it's direction. One reason is that it is truly intimidating & it's hard to face such a powerful, negative force from the position of victim or weakness. The voice always seems to be with us, sometimes playing behind the scenes, but there nevertheless. We awaken with it in the morning & still hear it before going to bed. It is so self-rightous, telling us everything there is to know about everything there is, interpreting & judging our every experience.

It tells us who we are, how we are & what we will be, demanding that we accept these interpretations blindly, while squelching our real vibrant SELF with every step. The beast is not a fool, but a very sophisticated & talented manipulator. His/her well positioned manuevers are second to none. It is clever & malicious at the same time, demanding us to feel badly about ourselves, while gathering strength from every success.

The group is attentive, having many questions. Where does the beast come from & how does it get it's information?

The beast is a metaphor for your self-image & self-esteem that started developing from infancy, collecting & evaluating every experience & memory that you ever had. He or she is the current dweller in your inner or subconscious mind, who has taken the coveted position of evaluating everything, including the past, the present & the future, even before it happens, thereby setting the stage in advance, rather like a fortune-teller.

The beast has the most up to date video camers & recorder in one, having the strange capability to record, even the most minute details, rememberances & feelings & then incorporating all of the senses. These are then stored in the library of your mind for "in the moment" future referencing.

We can now understand why Anna keeps having the same responses from her interviews!

One may wonder why the beast is so negative, for surely we've all had positive, happy moments & success. Of course we have, but unfortunately, like weeds in the garden, negatie memories & their reinforcements, tend to over-run the flowers of our minds. If you haven't attended to your positive experiences, the beastly weeds take over. Positive aspirations & memories are simply choked out, rained on, or blown away.

The negative self-image/esteem is locked in the subconscious. Just having these negative feelings & thoughts are enough to cause you to form deep-seated opinions & judgments about yourself, destroying the chance of positive growth. We then, consciously & subconsciously, reinforce these negative feelings & thoughts, forming negative or dysfunctional thought patterns.

WHO ARE YOU?

The real you is a pure life force & is not limited by concepts or ideas about who you are.

You are not your descriptions, nor your labels. These are outgrowths of a "you", designed by people, circumstances & experiences from your past. The "real you" is able to experience & enjoy the body in which you live, the external world in which you live & the thoughts, memories & even fantasies that your brain creates & stores. The "real you" is beautiful beyond your most creative fantasy & allowed to do so, will guide you through a terrific life. The "real you" feels wonderful all the time & the more freedom you give it, the more you will enjoy yourself.

EXTRICATING THE REAL YOU FROM THE BEAST

The next workshop blog will take you through the process...

Painting with Focus & Flow

"While we all are given the same amount of time, how we utilize it can change our outcomes dramatically. This is not a matter of luck, but instead, a matter of managing thoughts & careful, precise planning."...Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

Another hand is raised in the workshop, this time taking us into what appears to be a completely different area, but is it? We soon to come to understand that managing time IS also about staying out of fantasy thoughts, including allowing the presence of disorganized & negative emotions, such as anxiety, fear, depression & the like.

Jim works as a district manager for a tire company. He is explaining to the group about his unrelenting, high stress levels & cannot see how this can be changed by working in the theater of the mind. He has little faith that his TeacherSELF can open any doors for him in this regard.

The group looks to me, hoping that I won't be stumped by this, most likely because they can all relate. If I allow even an inkling of "this is not solvable", everyone will program that into their own minds & we'll be like a group retreating backwards. Obviously, I've been this route before & I'm looking forward to taking everyone forward.

Since Jim was the one to raise his hand, I'll work with him specifically, with the group coming along as active participant, just as we did with Pam. This way everyone benefits with new, powerful mind programs, delivered by their own TeacherSELVES.

I'm calling the TeacherSELF image into the room. I prefer to work through images that are located inside each member of the group. Keeping me out of the equation removes defensive blocks, as well as programming everything individual-specific & personal. The subconscious mind has a history of teacher images & will go ahead by choosing a very positive teacher image for each individual.

Relax now & deflate your body. Take it down even deeper than before. You already know how to do this.... & when you are ready, I'd like to show you where the steps are located that will take you down even further.... to the CLOCK collection....one of the most valuable collections in the subconscious mind library. Ready now.... there are five steps over here & let's decend together....counting down & looking forward....towards the organized SELF who is waiting for you. Each of us has this part already installed, even if you haven't been in touch in awhile.

The organized SELF leads us into the area of the "clocks." While yours are quite well attended to, you will notice that the care you provide is well below that of others in the world, who are known as high-end "clock" managers. Here is where you face your own self & choose to dismantle or change patterns or behaviors that take you away from the path leading to high-end "clocking." The clocks themselves are ready to be interviewed & will tell you where you are stalling or losing moments, minutes, hours, even days at a time.

It's important to listen & to remain open when in the presence of the powerful "clocks." ( This is a highly effective, creative mind exercise that literally opens your own subconscious mind for personal communication. You may hear the answers immediately, or they will come to you later, either through a "eureka" thought OR as a hot desire to act or change something.)

Listen now....most of us can remember a time when evedrything seemed to shine with a sparkling clarity; when everything just seemed to click without effort. Breathe..... open. These are moments worth living for & during those times we really know all that we are capable of doing & being. This experience is known as the focused mind state & is paramount in maintaining excellent "clocking."

Come with me now, into the workshop. Here you will be given the three essential parts of the focused mind state. Notice that they look like hats..... each one inviting itself to sit on your head.

Place the first hat on your head....your focus hat & listen as it places suggestions into your subconscious mind. For most people, the mind is like an ordinary light bulb, but your mind can be a bright spotlight, pinpointing with great clarity. One of the most effective ways for obtaining this level of concedntration is through utilizing your breath & focus of attention. This is a meditative process called mindfulness & is key to removing the "cloud cover" from your thought processes. Do this now.... simply breathe & replay what I just told you. Observe as the cloud disintegrates.

The second hat is asking to be placed on your head now. Go ahead... this is your flow hat. A good metaphor for understanding "flow" is the comparison between swimming in the Atlantic Ocean versus swimming in the calm Gulf of Mexico. See or sense those images now. Flow is a process of allowing a momentary focus of concentration to continue for a period of time.

I am instructing you to meditate with your breath on a daily basis. I'd like you to fractionate this practice, meaning to divide it up between six chairs..... sitting six times per day for 5 minutes each time. Part of you may be arguing that you don't have time.... & while this would appear to be true, the amount of time saved by slowing the mind will be extraordinary!

The third hat is asking for attention now.....mind flexibility. Listen....I'm about mastgering the quality of your attention. You may know what a flexible body feels like. Well, the same can be true of your mental state. When you have mental flexibility you can move your mind through an infinite array of tasks & functions. There are great exercises here in the workshop for developing these special muscles. A simple one is to just focus on your brfeath for a few minutes. You already practiced that... & now move your attention to another object in your environment. Stay with that object for a minute or so & then move back to the breath. Stay with the bnreath & then move to another object, repeating the exercise.

You are now on your way to experiencing high level "clock-work." In the next blog we'll go further into the workshop of the mind & visit the University. Here is where goal experimentation takes place, followed by planning, action-taking, motivating & moving through the obstacle course is practiced.

Teacher in Residence

Fear is a huge blocking agent that needs to be addressed directly....in the moment & in a straightforward manner!....Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

Pam has entered the theater & is waiting for direction. For now, she is the student. I speak to her through a self-hypnotic image of teacher-Self. Pam will come to know this image through my spoken words & then I will ask her to invite her to invite the image to enter herSELF, gently merging & then allowing her to play out her very own teacher-in residence.

The teacher speaks from the stage of the theater.

Be still now.....in fact, become very still & connect with what it feels like to be so still. Self-power exists in stillness & so practicing the art of inner & outer stillness is a requirement for managing all aspects of life. The level to which you can become still, as well as your ability to do so quickly, will determine the quaility of your SELFwork.

Quiet assertiveness....this is the mindstate for managing not only your fearfulSELF, but for any & all emotional transactions, be they with yourSELF or with others. Remember that you are a walking billboard.....SELF advertising....what you present is what you will receive. Present fear & then receive fear. Present confidence & then receive confidence. Present "quiet assertiveness" & observe what happens.

The workshop group watches in the theater of their own minds, of course each mind presenting different images that will program their own minds in positive ways. It makes no difference that this is about Pam & her issues. Positive progression is something everyone can experience from either reading, speaking or thinking about another. Each group member has now determined their own inner teacher. We are continuous students, learning at every turn. The same happens with the written word or spokenWORD on CD or mp3.

Pam is asked to pay attention to the scene being acted out on the stage. In this scene she is involved in issues that lead to future scenes, including bingeing & purging. There are relationship issues, as well as financial worries. She is able to see/sense the progression of these. Her emotional childSELF is wearing a worry/fear teeshirt & it's clear that neither of these work to change the issues. Something else is needed. Now, Pam is being given authority to change the scene, the script & anything else that she chooses. Her teacher gives suggestions & Pam gets to try out different avenues. As this occurs, the forward scenes automatically change as well.

As the workshop groups observes Pam's experience in the theater, they are programming their own minds for positive change, as well as building new creative techniques. All are integrating the image of TeacherSELF. In the future, this image will present alternative ways to solve everyday issues, bringing the participants to a higher level of performance & SELFcare.

Locating the Crux

"We all know the importance of getting to the "center" of things or the "heart" of the matter, but sometimes the "center" or the "heart" isn't where we think it is"....Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

I look to the workshop group. A hand is raised, almost apologetically, already giving me insight to the questioner. Appreciating the seriousness of this action, knowing I'm about to receive an opportunity to enter someone's private realm, I move from judgement, quieting my own mind in preparation. All questions are important. For many, it's not easy to "speak outloud" & especially to ask a question because this "opening" allows others to peak into quiet corners, perhaps some of them hidden for years. This is the path to the "crux."

The questioner, Pam has bulimia, but has been binge/purge free since starting the workshop three days ago. How I answer her question & whether I allow others to engage may make the difference between Pam's future success & self-management. I take another hypnotic breath, taking myself to my highest realm of awake-awareness. This is where my ability to see & sense is at it's keenest; a place where my own subconscious mind will meet Pam's, giving me even more information than she verbalizes. Her apologetic hand movements have already clued me as to her mind-state.....cautious & fearful, but wanting to go forward into recovery.

As teachers/writers, what we say, be it written or spoken word, will have impact on those who are the receivers. Such is the power of communication, that even words that don't appear to be profound on the surface can change lives dramatically.....both positively, as well as negatively.

And so, we watch what we say & live with intention to help each other along without harming. This means staying out of "ego" & in the presence of Higher Self.

I like to think that each one of us are teachers & students at the same time. It feels good to know that each day as one goes out into the world, the power is present to help someone to change in a positive way, even if one doesn't know & especially, if one doesn't like that person. We can all deliver the positive goods....

I engage Pam's subconscious mind to participate in opening her question, wondering what part gave her the courage to open & thanking that part through my own subconscious communication.

I've been binge & purge-free for three days, but I have no confidence & feel like I'm walking on the side of a cliff where at any moment, the wind can blow me off. How can I help myself?

Pam's question is beautifully decorated in metaphor, already setting the stage for the next part of her work. I notice the other participants are fully engaged, most likely having felt the same in their own life experiences, be it related to disorderly eating, or other addictions or distructive habits.

I ask the entire to group to participate as "observing practitioners" as Pam self-explores, looking for her "crux".

MIND EXERCISE

Let's all become still now & sense what stillness feels like....in your body....in your mind. And now, become ever more still. I give each of you a dial that you can turn to the left to become stiller than before. Go down as deep as you like & enjoy the sensation of deepening. If you prefer to utilize visual images, perhaps you can go down those stairs over there, or float in the sea on that beautiful raft, counting yourself down from five to one.

Everyone but Pam will stay over there & Pam will come with me now. Here is the key to your daily path. Open the gate now & step onto the path. This area contains all of the patterns you have developed & that usually play out in your mind & body on any given day. Each pattern is accompanied by the usual emotions that participate in the particular pattern. Take your time & walk around your daily path, paying particular attention to the patterns...... & when you have finished, I'd like you to return to where I'm waiting for you.

It's easy to see where your daily stress' are located & also to know what they are about. I'd like you to ask the patterns to line up according to their level of stress.....highest in the front....lowest in the rear. Go ahead now.... Now ask your binge-purge childSELF to show you which ones are the most bothersome to her. And when you know that, ask that pattern to come forth, complete with all emotional states.

Pam chooses her relationship with her boyfriend, as well as her financial worries. Her mind shows her that these are holding hands, meaning they are related. There is definite conflict here. She tells me that she can solve her financial difficulties IF her boyfriend moves back into her house but she doesn't love him & wants to enjoy her home on her own. Her boyfriend senses her weakness & continues to press the issue.

This situation most likely forms the "crux" or the center of Pam's eating disorder. There may be more to this, but it is close enough for Pam to start working in positive ways.

I'm asking Pam to ask her binge-purge childSELF to state what she needs. The child is silent & this distresses Pam, who assumes that the childSELF doesn't want to be better. I explain that this is not necessarily so, but even if "she" doesn't want to be better, this is not the choice of the childSELF. This is the choice of Pam's mature/adult & Higher Self. Pam needs to stand in the shoes of this part of her & to bring discipline to the childSELF. In order to do this, Pam must practice in the theater of her mind.

I indicate where the theater is located on her path.... we'll go over there & begin in the next blog.

Emotional Transactions

"Goals move forward & become self-generating when powered by consistent "Hot Desire". Everyone has the ability to key into this remarkable emotional state..... & the daily practice of Interactive Self-Hypnosis will take you there"....Elizabeth Bohorquez, RN, C.Ht

It's common to hang out in our emotional state of choice. For some, this is can be more towards "neutral", but for others it can be a low, or even moderate negative state. These include irritable, depressed, disinterested, bored, anxious, uptight or even belligerent. Lucky is the individual who wears a daily emotional coat of happy, peaceful, joyful, loving, pleased & the like. It's much easier for the latter to climb up further, so as to experience the powerful, creative emotion of Hot Desire.

LIVING IN NEGATIVE'S

Living in the negative areas presents many challenges, not only within the Self, but with others as well. In addition, when one area of a life is in disarray, the owner doesn't have to look far to find another. Emotional disorder & stress go hand in hand, bringing imbalance to the mind & body & keeping one far away from the helpful & creative subconscious mind. Addictions become the easy answers for managing the discomfort. Here's an uphappy thought; we can grow to like the negatives, even to love them & like with other bad relationships, they can be all consuming. It's like being locked in a prison of sorts & hiding the key from yourSelf. However, we can choose to stop.

It's imperative to be able to locate emotional states "in the moment", in order to release them. And, they must be released before being able to change one's emotional experience to positive & then to go up the ladder to Hot Desire. I call these "emotional transactions"; trading one for the other....hopefully transacting for one of higher value!

MIND EXERCISE

Relax into the moment & release your body stress. If you have been following the workshop blog, you know how to do this. If not, pretend magnets are pulling you down into the chair where you are resting. Here's a dial that you can turn to the left, thereby increasing the magnet pull. Feel how good it feels to have the body experience the magnetism. Stay with this for a moment or so. Next, notice that a child is standing by your side & the child is wearing a teeshirt with his/her name on it. This is your emotional childSelf & the shirt states your presenting emotion. If the child is big, the emotion is most likely big as well.

Sometimes we have multiple emotions & so many children may be present. Aida, one of the workshop participants is noticing that "inadequate, tearful & uptight" are standing together. Cary sees that "hopeless & helpless" are holding hands. Gina senses "relaxed & focused".

Negative-based emotions are heading for the light. It's down the path over there. Image it. If you can't bring an image into your mind, just think it. The emotions sit under the light & the rays fill their bodies. Black drops fall from their fingertips. The emotions become smaller. Sense or think all of this. In this moment you are planting a subconscious mind program. Positive emotions are now coming to the light & filling, becoming bigger. Image or think about this happening. Practice with both genres of emotions, even if they aren't yours. A positive subconscious mind program will be placed anyway.

Coming from behind the light is an image of a powerful, positive emotion. Read the teeshirt. This is "Hot Desire." Hot Desire is carrying a book & presenting it to you. Sit down on the bench over there & place the book on your lap. Notice that your name is on the cover & that you are the author. The book is filled with "Hot Desire" experiences, some coming from your own mind library & others coming from things you have seen, or gifted from people you know who have had this genre of experience.

Open the book & locate a "Hot Desire" image. Each image tells a story. Listen, as the story is "remembered" to you. ( This is not a grammatical error....but a special way of playing with the inner mind.) This is a time when you felt a huge desire for something..... it's BIG. Sense it & when you have connected with the "sensing", tap on the picture gently. As you tap the picture will open & you will now sense yourSelf in the middle of the Hot Desire experience. The pulse of the desire is over there. Touch it. Next, touch your heart. You are transferring the sensation to your major pump organ. Sense it inside of you. If this seems odd to you, just play with it. This is a game of sorts, but your subconscious mind believes "everything" you are doing. You are busy capturing the emotional state of Hot Desire.

If you like, go through the book, becoming aware & then tapping open different Hot Desire experiences. It's vital to sense them, so do take the time to do this. Each time, find the button & transfer the sensing to your heart. You can enter the experiences of others & make it your own. Think about others who you have known to have these experiences. For example, Tiger Woods, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Kwan....anyone you know or have heard about that truly, truly wanted something!! These desires are very hot & it is because of their high temperature/emotional programming content, that these individuals can ride through & stay motivated for long periods of time.

You now have these "rememberings" inside of yourSelf & I'd like you to take an image of something you truly want & hold it in the palm of your hand, just as if it were a living model. Next, touch your heart & then sprinkle the Hot Desire that is stored there right onto your working image & observe it "firing up." This is an emotional transaction & one of great value.

The past issues of this blog can be found below. Other segments are stored in the following separate blog. For those of you who would like to practice Interactive Self-Hypnosis, there is always a complimentary mp3 sitting on my website.
